Who is Kay Ivey? Here's is my list of things that I have observed about Kay Ivey, just in case you are doing your own search and you came across this blog post while doing your own investigation.

Liking the color green ... wearing alot of red ... a sharp dresser...hosting a great campaign website ... marketing well for a candidate ...funny ... from the south ... using humor with charm ... using her own "Kayisms".

Now running for Lt. Governor in Alabama against Senator Hank Erwin who is not happy about that ... no longer running against the seven candidates for governor... liking the second amendment and sports a nice red hat ... techno savvy with twitter and facebook ... SO, what is there not to like about Kay Ivey? Do your own research. The website address is: kayivey.org

I find that she is a very interesting character with lots of knowledge, plenty of background and full of surprises. If you ask whether or not I would vote for her, I won't tell you but I really think if this Lt. Governor thing doesn't work out for her, maybe she should get her marketing people to come up with her a new marketing campaign for the 'Kay Brigade'. She could have a cleaning service complete with her own designer products. It should turn out to be a great adventure!

Join the 2nd Annual Rainy Day Patriots Tea Party in Birmingham,AL/Shelby County on Tax Day April 15, 2010. Pre-Events begin at 3:00pm with the main event beginning at 6:00pm. Bring blankets, chairs and a picnic dinner. Don't forget your signs! Park close by at Spain Park High School immediately behind Veterans Park. Remember, there are 3 ways to get to the park. Highway 280, Highway 31, Interstate 65 at Valleydale, Caldwell Mill Road, as well as south from Highway 119.

Feature speakers: Chuck Heath and Chuck Heath Jr, Father and Brother of GOP 2008 Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin, Other Speakers include some of last year favorites, Matt Murphy 100.5, Lee Davis broadcasting LIVE and Michael Hart of 101.1, Steve and Leah of 105.5.
